In honor of Kofi Burbridge’s life and legacy, we invite you to join us for the 5th Annual Kofi Burbridge Day of Service on September 19, 2025. This nationwide day of service is a heartfelt way to celebrate Kofi’s generous spirit by giving back to our communities through meaningful acts of service.

This year, we’re proud to partner with nonprofit organizations in 26 cities across the U.S, offering a wide range of volunteer opportunities for the Tedeschi Trucks Band family.

about kofi BURBRIDGE

Born on September 22, 1961, and passed away on February 15, 2019, due to complications from a cardiac condition, Kofi was a two-time Grammy Award-winning keyboardist, flautist, composer, and arranger. Best known for his work with Aquarium Rescue Unit, The Derek Trucks Band, and Tedeschi Trucks Band, Kofi’s brilliance extended beyond the stage. He was a creative force, and a generous spirit — remembered not only for his musical talent, but for his humility, warmth, and kindness.
