‍In honor of Kofi Burbridge’s life and legacy, we invite you to join us for the 5th Annual Kofi Burbridge Day of Service on September 19, 2025. This nationwide day of service is a heartfelt way to celebrate Kofi’s generous spirit by giving back to our communities through meaningful acts of service.

Support Music Education
‍Join us by supporting music education through Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation’s Adopt A School campaign. We are raising funds to provide much-needed high-quality instruments to the band program at Riverside High School in Jacksonville, Florida where nearly every student depends on a school-provided instrument to participate. Donate today, helping to place an instrument in the hands of students at Riverside High School and inspiring the next generation of musicians.

about kofi BURBRIDGE

Born on September 22, 1961, and passed away on February 15, 2019, due to complications from a cardiac condition, Kofi was a two-time Grammy Award-winning keyboardist, flautist, composer, and arranger. Best known for his work with Aquarium Rescue Unit, The Derek Trucks Band, and Tedeschi Trucks Band, Kofi’s brilliance extended beyond the stage. He was a creative force, and a generous spirit — remembered not only for his musical talent, but for his humility, warmth, and kindness.
